The OMEGA is a professional digital dimmer/relay range- designed for controlling
incandescent lamp brightness and non-dimmable devices. Omega has got a lot
of excellent functions for professional use: lamp preheat, output limit, individual
channel patch, curve setup and many more functions. There are two ways to control
Omegas output values- first is DMX-512 control, the second- manual control (using
navigation buttons and encoder wheel on a dimmers front panel) using “Test” or
“Chase” modes . “Test” mode allows to set channel values in two ways- single channel
(C) or channel group (G). Operation the dimmer in “Chase” mode allow play
back six pre-recorded sequences (independently of the DMX input value) with possibility
to take manual control of the sequence speed, direction and preheat level.
The Omega front panel includes: digital display, menu navigation buttons, a digital
encoder wheel as well as a circuit breakers for each channel. Digital display shows
DMX adress and indicates DMX status, selected control mode and setup status,
graphically shows input signal value for all 12 channels. The units have 12 output
channels, each channel has got 16A circuit breaker. The Omega units have several
options of output socket types on the back panel: 19 PlNs, Hartings, hard wired,
Schuko – single or paired. The Omega+ version has the third control – manual – using
12 anologue potentiometers, located on the front panel.
